“-Omics”: From Transcriptomics and Proteomics to Metabolomics

Pre-Meeting Workshop, June 25, 2005

American Society for Neurochemistry

Organizers: Lynn Hudson and Steve Pfeiffer

Breakthroughs in defining dynamic biologic systems through “-omics” experiments herald a new era for neuroscientists pursuing nervous system function.  This workshop will introduce both individual “-omics” technologics, including namely transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics, glycomics and metabolomics and the bioinformatics platforms that can serve to integrate these large data sets.
