The Percent Sign (%)can be used in your Search Criteria (Search Words) as a wild card to help improve your ability to refine or broaden your searches.

* Using the % at the end of a Search Word

Usine the % at the end of a Search Word will find all data that start with those letters no matter what follows them
Example: Find all Members with the Last Name beginning with the letter "C":
To do this, in the Last Name box type in:  c%.
This would return results such as: Castile, Coran, Cross, Crowley.

* Using the % at the beginning of a Search Word

Using the % at the beginning of a Search Word will find all data that ends with the letters no matter what the leading characters are:
Example: You wish to find all the Last Names that end in 'os'.
To do this, in the Last Name box type in: %os.
This would return results such as: Los, Viveros, Panos.

* Using the % at the beginning and the end of a Search Word

Using the % at the beginning and the end of a Search Word allows you to find data that contains the characters you select for your search.
Example: You wish to find all find all the members who have Lee in their First Name.
To do this, in the First Name Box, you would type in: %lee%.
This would return results such as: Peggy Lee, LeeAnne, Leeroy, Galilee

* Using the % inside a Search Word

Using the % inside a Search Word allows returns data with words or phrases that begin AND end with the characters in front and behend the %.
Example: You want to find everyone from the state of California but they may be entered as CA or California.
To do this, in the State Box type in c%a

Please Note: The Percent sign cannot be included with a Keyword since they are predetermined.
