Please provide your valid official photo identification or an official letter from your university/organization that indicates proof of status as a Student/Post Doc. Undergraduates who are currently waiting to start medical or graduate school (within the last 5 years) and are working in a university are eligible to get student rate with a copy of employment ID.

Payment of Fees

For online registration, we only accept credit card payments with Amex, Visa or Mastercard. For onsite registration, we only accept Cash (USD), Amex, Visa or Mastercard. Full payment is due prior to obtaining your badge for entry to the Meeting. Cheques will NOT be accepted.

Individual Registration Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations received in writing at the ASN 2023 Annual Meeting Secretariat's email address by February 1, 2023, will be accepted and all fees refunded, less a USD 100.00 administrative fee, as per Committee policy. Cancellations received after February 1, 2023, will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is permitted by re-accessing the original attendee’s registration via the confirmation letter and replacing with the new attendee. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Meeting.

In the unlikely event that the Meeting is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded.

Registration fees for delegates registering under the Low-Middle Income categories are non-refundable.

Registration Confirmation  

Please check your email or spam/junk folder for the Registration Confirmation. If not received, please email asn-registration@icsevents.com and provide a secondary personal email address.

Letter of Invitation for International Attendees  
An official letter of invitation to obtain a travel visa and authorization to attend the 53rd Annual ASN Meeting will be issued ONLY after registration has been completed and full payment received by the Meeting Secretariat. It is the delegate's responsibility to determine his/her requirements for entry into the United States.

Photographs
As a registered delegate of the 53rd Annual ASN Meeting, you agree that the Meeting Organizers or authorized third parties may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words, and may publish or distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including but not limited to websites, presentations, and marketing materials. Photographs of data, whether displayed on screens, in posters, or elsewhere is not permitted.


Liability
The Meeting Secretariat cannot accept liability for injuries or losses arising from accidents or other situations during or as a consequence of attending the 5rd Annual ASN Meeting. In addition, the Meeting Secretariat is not liable for presentation cancellations or session delays that are beyond their reasonable control. In the unlikely event that the Meeting is cancelled, travel and accommodation cost will not be refunded

Title: Healing, pain and the opioid crises

Co-chair: Stefka Spassieva, PhD University of Kentucky

Opioid treatment of chronic pain can lead to addiction, which caused one of the worst public heath crises in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and in the United States.

In this symposium, researchers from the University of Kentucky, including scientists from the HEALing community study, and their collaborators will present forefront research on understanding and addressing opioid addiction and finding novel treatments to manage pain.
