Position Title: Assistant Professor (Tenure Eligible)

We are recruiting exceptional postdocs and junior faculty for a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Genetics.
We support an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative environment in learning and teaching across our medical and graduate programs. Research interests that align well with the department include neurotrauma and neurodegenerative diseases with consideration of cardiovascular factors, the role of the immune system response, pain chronification, and genetic susceptibility. We encourage research that integrates mechanistic studies with translational approaches to understand pathophysiology and identify therapeutic targets and potential treatments for protection, repair and recovery. Expertise with cutting-edge technologies and techniques is desired, including bioinformatics and computational biology as applicable to genetics and neuroimaging.
