Video Diary Project

What is the ASN Video Diary History Project?

The ASN History Project collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of current and former American Society of Neurochemistry members and their experiences being a member of the society so that future members may hear directly from veterans and better understand the history of this society and the progress which has been made in the field of neurochemistry over time.

Why should I participate?

In August 2019, the American Society for Neurochemistry will celebrate its 50th Anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, we would like to create a living history record of video interviews of founding ASN members who are still living, or senior ASN members who have meaningful recollections of the history of the society over the past 50 years. These video vignettes will be used to inspire students, drive membership and encourage long-term contributions to the society.
